In partnership with our fiscal agent, Southern Ohio Educational Service Center, and in collaboration with Brown County Educational Service Center, SST 14 coordinates the delivery of high-quality school improvement support across Southern Ohio. We provide services for 18 school districts as well as educators, parents, and students in Adams, Brown, Clinton, Fayette, and Highland Counties.
The focus of our work is to support districts in establishing the capacity to close achievement gaps for students with disabilities and all other underperforming groups. We do this by assisting them with the development of efficient and effective systems/processes and by supporting the use of research-based instructional practices.
The Related services provided through the Hopewell Center are an additional component that we provide to districts within the region. These services are available to member districts through an agreement in which costs are shared by all members; making the needed services very cost effective. Such services include Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Visual, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Adaptive PE and Autism.
Region 14/Hopewell Center has a long-standing tradition of being a one-stop shop for important services that the districts in this region have come to rely and depend on. Our commitment is to continually improve those services and to do all that we can to lead with innovative solutions for student and community success.
